This is an original 1882 hand-colored lithograph by English entomologist William Forsell Kirby (1844-1912), of several species of moths from the Lasiocampidae family, including; the Oak Eggar, Lasiocampa quercus, (Fig. 1, a-e), the Lasiocampa rubi, (Fig. 2 1-c), the Eriogaster rimicola, (Fig. 3, a-b), the Small Eggar, Eriogaster lanestris, (Fig. 4, a-b), and the Crateronyx dumeti, (Fig. 5).

This 131+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Moderate foxing and aging. Small crease - bottom margin. Light water stain - top margin.
