This is an original 1883 black and white wood engraving of the castle of Chapultepec in Mexico. The castle is located on top of Chapultepec Hill and was a sacred place for the Aztecs. The buildings atop the hill have been used by the Military Academy, Imperial residence, President for his home, as an observatory and now its the Museo Nacional de Historia.
