This is an original 1898 halftone print of a water scene in Elm Park, a historic park located in Worcester, Massachusetts. The land was purchased in 1854, and was one of the first land purchases to be use as a public park in the United States. In 1970, the site was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Period Paper has obtained a rare collection of original late 19th century prints and advertisements from the city of Worcester Massachusetts. These images are views on and adjacent to the routes of the Worcester Consolidated Street Railway.
