Period Paper is proud to present a collection of chromolithographs and photolithographs, (some with gold ink and gilt), and vintage advertisements from the London Illustrated News during the 1911 coronation of King George V of the United Kingdom and British Dominions and Emperor of India, and his wife, Mary of Teck, Queen consort. These stunning illustrations and paintings by Cyrus Cuneo, Cecil King, Samuel Begg, and others, portray the wealth and splendor of the British Royal Family, the coronation ceremony inside Westminster Abbey, and the majestic Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom. In excellent condition, these folio-sized prints are ideal for framing. Due to the difficulty of digitally capturing the luster of the metallic inks, we have provided a second image, so please see both images.
