This is an original 1930 monochrome lithograph of the square of Tábor, Czech Republic. The town is located in the South Bohemian region and was named after Mount Tabor in the Jezreel Valley of Israel, where the Transfiguration of Jesus is said to have occurred by many Christians. Interestingly enough, the word 'tábor' became popular in Czech, and presently translates to 'camp,' or 'encampment.'
