This is an original 1930 color print of Frank Munn and Virigina Rea playing Paul Oliver and Olive Palmer during the Palmolive Hour. The caption writes, "Famous is the Palmolive Hour; not so well-known is the fact that although it is broadcast on the National Broadcasting chain and classed as a N. B. C. hour, it is actually produced by Sound Studios of New York, Inc., under the direction of Gustave Haenschen and Frank Black, its originators."

The Palmolive Hour was a radio concert sponsored by Palmolive Soap. Munn and Rea usually performed a duet on the show, and the rest of the hour was filled with jazz, show tunes and opera music.
