This is an original 1933 color print of Charles E. Adams, the director of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The caption writes, "The unpredictable Mr. Pruyn of Albany sent him to stock a farm with swine, and when Mr. Adams, who knows nothing about hogs, got a friend to do all the work Mr. Pruyn was satisfied he had an executive. Since 1921, when Mr. Adams began directing Air Reduction's affairs, a great many other people have come to agree with Mr. Pruyn."
