This is an original 1935 color print of dancers during the "King of Burlesque," from 20th Century Fox. The caption writes, "You may think these girls glamorous indeed when you see them later with their blond wigs and make-up in the chorus they are here rehearsing for "King of Burlesque." But they are mostly little more than children, and for this tedious chore they wear whatever comes to hand-- though rarely quite so much." The lead characters of the film were played by Warner Baxter, Alice Faye, Jack Oakie, and Mona Barrie.
