1939 Print Rue De Rivoli Gothas Bomb France Paris Shop World War I Chocolate FZ1

This is an original 1939 halftone print of the bombed Rue de Rivoli in Paris, France. A 650 pound bomb landed on the street during World War I, and killed 51 people, and injured 240. The same night, ninety other bombs were dropped in the vicinity. The street is one of the most famous in Paris, and is named after Napoleon's victory against the Austrian army.
