This is an original 1947 black and white photogravure of the Virginia House located in Richmond, Virginia. Completed in 1929, the Virginia House was built by Alexander and Virginia Weddell overlooking the James River in Richmond, Virginia. The materials for its construction were reused from a sixteenth century English manor, combining three romantic English Tudor designs.
