This is an original 1955 duotone rotogravure of families looking at the oil-wick lamps at the Rashtrapati Bhavan (The Official Residence of the Head of the State) which is the residence of the President of India in New Delhi, India. This scene occurred during Diwali which is known as the Hindu "festival of lights." The floodlit Rampurva bull is visible under the colonnade.
