This is an original 1910 two-color print of George M. Cohan, "the originator of the Cohan dance, the Cohan corner-of-the-mouth curtain speech, the Cohan brand of musical comedy entertainment, the Cohan model for Elsie Janis's popular imitations and [...] of Cohan's Royal Family." Cohan was later known as "the father of American musical comedy" and is fondly remembered in American history as a patriotic songwriter. He also helped found ASCAP, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

Period Paper is pleased to offer an original 1910 collection of prints showcasing the finest actors and actresses of the American theatre in the early 20th century. This collection was illustrated by the famous father of American poster art ,Will Bradley (William H. Bradley). These pieces are in excellent condition and several are two piece sets with biographies and halftone images of the actors and actresses.
