"DŽtails des Stalles."

This is an original 1911 black and white print of the intricate carving on the choir stalls in the Church of Brou, Bourg-en-Bresse, France.

Period Paper is pleased to offer a number of images of the beautiful Church of Brou in Bourg-en-Bresse, France. L'ƒglise de Brou was conceived of by Marguerite of Bourbon, wife of Philip II of Savoy, but was actually built early in the 16th century by her daughter-in-law, Marguerite of Austria, wife of Philibert le Beau of Savoy. The church is noted for its ornamental Gothic architecture and fine works of art including three mausoleums. These wonderful prints were printed on a sturdy paper stock and all are excellent images for framing.
