This is an original 1920 sepia halftone print of the well-preserved Medieval city walls of Aigues-Mortes in southern France. Fun fact--Aigues-Mortes is derived from the Occitan term "dead waters." Along with a booming tourism industry, the town also produces and exports sea salt, wine and asparagus.
