This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of the summit of the Matterhorn, located in the Pennine Alps between Switzerland and Italy. The caption for this image writes, "Summit of the Matterhorn, in the Pennine Alps, 14,781 feet above the level of the sea. It rises just southwest of Zermatt, Switzerland, between the Val d'Aosta in Italy and the Swiss canton of Valais."
