This is an original 1929 two-color heliogravure (comprising a black ink heliogravure base with a color lithograph plate on top) of an illustration by the French painter and illustrator, André Dignimont (1891-1965) for the book Nuits au Bouge by Pierre Mac Orlan (Flammarion, 1928). Please note the deckle edge on the bottom and right margins.
