1929 Print Working Salt Mines Eighteenth Century Wieliczka Poland Cracow TRV1

This is an original 1929 halftone print of men working the salt mines in the eighteenth century. At this time the salt was "scratched" from the walls into the aprons of the miners and then placed in barrels which were rolled to the transportation shafts.
