This is a set of 6 original 1933 prints of French art: "La Partie de Cartes" by Durameau, "Figure pour 'Le Printemps" and "Masque de la Tour par lui-meme," by Jean-Antoine Watteau, "La Villa Medicis" by Hubert Robert, "La Revue du Roi dans la Plaine des Sablons" by Moreau le Jeune, and "Portrait de L'Artiste" by A. De Saint-Aubin. The prints are laid out on the front and back of three pages to accompany an articleÐ "Les Goncourt Collectionneurs" by Georges LeComte. Each print is hand tipped-in on a sturdy textured paper with a beautiful border of gold metallic ink. (Unfortunately, our digital image does not capture gold gilt well, and these gorgeous borders appear brown.) Please note that the dimensions of the actual images vary. Please see all images.
