This is a rare original 1875 color chromolithograph that depicts a variety of luxurious jeweled items from the 16th and 17th centuries in Europe.

A unique feature of this illustration, which may be difficult to see in the digital image, is the use of gold ink that not only shimmers when it catches the light but also accentuates some of the finer details which might otherwise be missed.
