1893 Print Victorian Child Dog Frances Harris Reynolds - ORIGINAL CT2

This is an original 1893 print from a painting by Sir Joshua Reynolds, engraved by W. B. Closson, which appeared in the St. Nicholas Magazine, November 1881. The print has a copyright date of 1881 by The Century Co., and the actual image measures approximately 5 x 6.75 inches.

These large format proofs were printed as a collection in 1893 on a fine paper stock, uncommon for late 19th century printing. Wonderfully preserved for well over a century, these fine art proofs are exceptional, and excellent original images for framing. Please note that the actual print borders are much larger than than seen in the digital image (see the size dimensions above).

This 118+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +. No aging. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. There is a moderate crease along the right margin of the outer border, which is not visible on our digital image, but which does not affect the printed area.
