This is an original 1924 color mini poster designed by C. (Christopher) R. W. Nevinson for the Underground Railways of London, and printed by the Avenue Press (L. Upcott Gill & Son, Ltd.), of Drury Lane in London, England. Nevinson (1889 - 1946) was best known in Great Britain for his landscapes, paintings, etchings, and lithographs.

C. R. W. Nevinson

(1889-1946) Christopher Richard Wynne Nevinson was a British artist who studied at the Academie Julian in Paris from 1912 to 1913 eventually becaming a Futurist artist. His work includes landscapes, urban and industrial subjects, war scenes, figure studies and flower paintings.
