This is an original 1889 one print article, (accompanied by an additional page with a halftone illustration) "Lucigen- the New Industrial Light", manufactured by the Industrial Light Company, 196 Temple Court, New York. This article also features four halftone illustrations of the Lucigen. Fig. 1 and 2 shows the portable form of lamp with oil reservoir attached, being shown applied for exterior and interior use. Fig. 3 shows a permanent fixture for a foundry or large shop, or depot, the apparatus receiving its oil and air from some source common to the other lamps in the same shop or works. Fig. 4 shows a large light operated from a separate source, and adapted for outdoors work.
