This is an original 1895 black and white steel engraving of a portrait of businessman, jewelry and lumber baron and Democratic Mayor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mr. Abner Kirby. Kirby was also the owner of the Kirby House in Milwaukee. He was also a Union supporter during the American Civil War.
