This is an original 1900 black and white halftone print of a portrait of American stage actress and Broadway musical performer Mabelle Gilman Corey (1874 or 1882-1966). She was taken captive by the Nazis in 1940 while living in France during World War II but was released in 1942 as she was over 60 years of age.
