This is an original 1900 halftone print of a Painted Panel by Frank Brangwyn. Brangwyn was an Anglo-Welsh artist, painter, watercolorist, virtuoso engraver and illustrator, and progressive designer. At the age of seventeen one of his paintings was accepted at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, which strengthened his conviction to become an artist.

Frank Brangwyn

Sir Frank William Brangwyn (1867-1956) was a talented Welsh artist, painter, muralist, engraver and illustrator. During World War I Brangwyn designed a number of war posters. In addition to his commercial poster art, he illustrated a number of books, created illustrations for many American magazines, and painted some very well-known murals. He produced many works in watercolor and hundreds of etchings.
