This is an original 1908 black and white halftone print of a marketplace in the city of Tehuantepec which is located in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. This city is still the home of the indigenous Zapotec culture and for the distinctive traditional dress of its women. This style was adopted by Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.
