This is an original 1912 sepia halftone print of the guild houses of the city of Ghent which is located in the Flemish region of Belgium. The Flemish live in a region called Flanders and is in northern Belgium where the people often speak Dutch. Ghent is located at the confluence of the Scheldt and Lys rivers and, because of this, it became one of the richest cities in northern Europe in the Middle Ages.

This 99+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine+. Light aging throughout. No creases. Minor print defect - top center. No surface rub. No tears. Light water staining. Please note that there is also light moisture wrinkling in this piece.
