This is an original 1914 World War I halftone print of various military scenes including German Scarecrow men with their spiked helmets, meant to fool French scouts, the Germany Calvary, a beautiful cathedral with its classic spires in great danger from siege gun attacks by the Teutons, as well as the pile of rifles Russians left behind when they were thrown against the Prussians at Hohenstein.
