Beeman's. Beeman's chewing gum was invented by Dr. Edward Beeman of Ohio and was marketed for its indigestion and sea sickness curing properties. The brand is still occasionally produced by Cadbury Adams as a nostalgia gum. It was featured in the films The Rocketeer and The Right Stuff, and was considered the choice brand of pilot during the height of aviation.
