This is an original 1918 halftone print of counterfeited bread tags. The caption reads, "Wearied of standing in line half a day for a three-quarter pound load of bread, Germans have turned counterfeiters. Twenty five thousand spurious bread tags have been discovered thus far in Britain alone."
