Period Paper is pleased to offer a gorgeous collection of tipped-in pochoir prints from 1925 of embroidery from Russia, the Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, the Crimea, and Georgia. These pochoirs were created by first producing a heliogravure black plate, and then they were hand-painted over the top of the heliogravure with multiple paints. They are mounted on a classic laid board with a letterpress caption in French. These lovely examples of folk art are highly collectable and ready for framing.
