This is an original 1931 two-color collotype of a piece by Trecento artist Lippo Memmi entitled Madonna of Misericordia, which depicts the Virgin Mother surrounded by saints and worshippers. Like most medieval art, this piece has for disproportionately sized people in comparison to the central figure, Mary.
