This is an original 1934 color print of chorus girls in a Max Gordon film. The caption writes, "Gone are the rouged and buxom mountains of splendid flesh that danced in the chorus of an elder day: these might be schoolgirls or debutantes. Gone, too, are their salaries. Once a Ziegfeld 'beaut' might get $125 a week; Max Gordon's top is $50."
