This is an original 1935 halftone print of Paracale Bay on the Pacific Ocean in the province of Luzon in the Philippines. The area at the time of this publication was just being opened by Jan Hendrik Marsman Jr. in which he would employ men for the Coco Grove Placer Syndicate Company to operate sea dredges to find approximately 5 million dollars worth of placer gold. We are unsure of the success of the project.
