This is an original 1935 black and white halftone print of the Simonopetra Monastery on Mount Athos in Greece. Mount Athos, also called the Holy Mountain also used to be called No Woman's land, because no woman or female animal or fowl was allowed on the site. Mount Athos is also said to be a world heritage site.
