This is an original 1936 halftone print of women surveying the tires at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio. The company was founded in 1898 by Frank Seiberling, and manufactures tires for airplanes, trucks, and automobiles. The caption writes, "The tires, still hot, pass the inspection girls who spray on the house flag."

Photography by William M. Rittase (1894-1968). He was an American photographer active from the 1920s to the 1930s. He is best known for his industrial photography and portraits often used in Fortune Magazine.
