The Lucky Curve feed successfully drew excess ink back into the pen, avoiding catastrophic leaking. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1931, Parker invented Quink, a quick drying ink that didnÕt require blotting, which, consequently, led to the development of the most widely used pen in history: the Parker 51.  This particular pen model made over $400 million in sales during its 30 year reign.
