This is an original 1939 halftone print of an antique (dated 1598, thought to have been crafted in Nuremberg, Germany) engraved glass beaker with an etching of a German inscription, as well as of figures of the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and of the Seven Electors with their shields (coat of arms). It is said that the figures are adapted from an illustration in Hartmann Schedel's
Weltchronik (Nuremberg, Germany). On the front is an engraving of an urn (vase) of flowers.
