This is an original 1908 two-color halftone print of a painting by Eduard Magnus (1799-1872) that portrays operatic soprano Jenny "Swedish Nightingale" Lind (1820-1887). She came to sing in America in 1850 and her tour was managed by none other than legendary showman, P.T. Barnum (1810-1891).

This 105+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++. Light aging throughout. Some light surface rub. Please note: There are some scuffs from the original binding in the right margin.
