Beautiful, Rare, Large-Format Marcel Vertés Hand-Colored Lithographs and Pochoirs (1941)

A stunning collection of large-format, tipped-in, hand-colored original lithographs of women, in various poses, by the Hungarian-born painter, illustrator, and costume designer, Marcel Vertès (1895 -1961). Unique to this collection from Vertés is his nude illustration style and the consistent them of dance as well as his use of animals (domestic and farm). This collection is number 1680 from a limited edition of 1750 and is printed on paper specially made by Henry Lindenmeyr & Sons. In excellent condition, each folio-size print is ready to frame. In each product listing we have provided two images of each lithograph: a closeup and a second image showing the border area of the mounting board.
