This is an original 1912 black and white halftone print of a portrait of operatic soprano and Broadway performer Alice Neilsen (1872-1943). Her breakout role was in Broadway musical, The Serenade, by Victor Herbert. During her illustrious career, Neilsen performed at Covent Garden in London, the Carlo Opera Company in San Francisco, the Teatro di San Carlo of Naples, Italy, the Boston Opera House, and the Metropolitan Opera in New York, NY.
