This is an original 1845 black and white steel engraving of a painting by J. Holland that portrayed British gentlemen lounging inside the drawing room of the Athenaeum Club in London, England during the Victorian era. Several notable figures including; Winston Churchill, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Charles Dickens, and Charles Darwin have been members of the club throughout history.
