This is an original 1873 halftone print of an Improved Heading and Surface Planer, manufactured by Trevor & Company, Lockport, New York. This machine was intended for the purpose of planing barrel and keg headings of all descriptions, box boards, cloth boards, pail and tub bottoms; also chair and cabinetmakers' stock generally.
