1874 Print Wild's Magneto Electro-Plating Machine Antique Mechanical MAB1

This is an original 1874 halftone print of a Wild's Magneto Electro-Plating Machine. This invention is quite large machine - four feet high by three feet square - and has to be turned by steam or other sufficient power. It is made in three sizes, the largest intended for electric light, having six electromagnets; the middling size, used for electroplating, and represented in our engraving with four electromagnets, and a small size for educational purposes and as a chemist's tool in the laboratory and philosophical cabinet.
