This is a rare original 1875 color chromolithograph that depicts a variety of ancient Etruscan jewelry now located in the Louvre museum in Paris, France. The Etruscan region was renowned for its fine artistry and skilled craftsmen, and their work has been discovered in countless historical sites across Italy and certain parts of Europe. Interestingly, some of these pieces demonstrate distinct Greek and Egyptian influences.

A unique feature of this illustration, which may be difficult to see in the digital image, is the use of gold ink which not only shimmers when it catches the light but also accentuates some of the finer details that might otherwise be missed.
