This is an original 1876 black and white wood engraving of the Hotel de Rohan Soubise located at 60 Rue de Francs-Bourgeois in Paris, France. It was originally a manor house known as the Grand-Chantier, but was bought and remodeled built by the Prince and Princess de Soubise around 1700. It is thought that since the Princesse was at one time among the long list of the King's mistresses, the home was probably paid for using the money she accumulated while she was in his service.
