This is an original 1876 black and white in-text wood engraving of "Interior of the Chief Hall of the Thermae of Caracalla" in Rome, Italy. The design of this Roman bath served as inspiration for St. George's Hall in Liverpool, England as well as Pennsylvania Station in New York City.
