This is a set of four original 1877 halftone prints showing Jennings' improved tip-up washbasins made by the Jennings Sanitary Depot, 94 Beekman Street, NYC. Fig. 1 shows a three-sink washbasin made for schools, hospitals, dormitories, hotels, factories, etc.; Fig. 2 shows another three-sink washbasin in a different configuration; Fig. 3 shows the manner of tipping up these basins to dispose of the water; and Fig. 4 shows a one-sink washbasin that fits in a corner of a room. CONDITION
This 134+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++. Light aging throughout. No creases. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there is some light bleed through from the printing on the reverse of each print. Fig. 2 measures 2.5 x 2.25 inches; Fig. 3 measures 2 x 1.5 inches ; and Fig 4 measures 2.5 x 3 inches.
