This is an original 1881 black and white wood engraving that portrays the Federal style brick architecture of "Wheatland" or the James Buchanan House that is located outside of Lancaster in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania (PA). The estate served as the home of James Buchanan (1791-1868), the fifteenth President of the United States of America. The property is designated as a US National Historic Landmark and is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places.
