This is an original 1882 hand-colored lithograph by English entomologist William Forsell Kirby (1844-1912), of several species of moths from the Dendrometridae family, including; the Therapis evonymaria, (Fig. 1), the Pericallia syringaria, (Fig. 2, a-b), the Scalloped Oak, Crocallis elinguaria, (Fig. 3, a-b), the Eurymene dolabraria, (Fig. 4, a-b), the Epione advenaria, (Fig. 5), the Epione apiciaria, (Fig. 6), the Diastictis artesiaria, (Fig. 7), the Ploseria diversata, (Fig. 8), the Black-veined Moth, Siona lineata, (Fig. 9), and the Phasiane petraria, (Fig. 10).
